OUR DOCTOR
Laura A. Ramos, D.V.M.
Dr. Ramos has been practicing veterinary medicine since she graduated from the University of Wisconsin -Madison in 1992.
She opened The Animal Hospital of Crested Butte in 1997 to provide Crested Butte's local and visiting pets exceptional health care.
Dr. Ramos continues her education through certified seminars and classes to bring you the very latest in veterinary care. In 2001, she completed a class in Veterinary Acupuncture to offer her patients an alternative and gentle option of treatment. Dr. Laura also is knowledgeable in the use of Chinese and Traditional Herbs, Homeopathic Medicine, Flower remedies and Nutrition to compliment her allopathic and acupuncture treatments.

Cheryl Kaladas, Office Manager
Cheryl is our friendly voice on the phone and organizer for the business. She moved from the east coast to Taos, NM to pursue her artistic talent in 1998 before moving to Crested Butte in 2000 to be with her now husband, Scott. She enjoys the great outdoors of the Rocky Mountains & enjoys being with her cat Hilo at home. She is presently pursuing photography and pottery.
Heather Ryan, Vet Assistant
Welcome Heather to our clinic! Heather is new to Crested Butte from Jasckson Hole, Wyoming. Heather and her Labrador, Cody are enjoying Crested Butte as Heather helps at the Animal Hospital of Crested Butte.
Tara Gorman, Vet Assistant
Tara has been enjoying the wonders of Crested Butte since 1996 with her dog Rose by her side. She also enjoys working at the Adaptive Sports Center, following her passion for the great outdoors and providing outdoor activities for everyone. Tara enjoys working at AHCB getting to know the resident pets and their owners.
